  1. Sazh: Heads or Tails?, the second Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC (downloadable content), is now available for Xbox 360 and PS3, Square Enix announced. This new episode provides players with the chance to take control of Sazh, the popular character from Final Fantasy XIII, in a story that runs in parallel with the narrative of the main game. Upon completing the storyline of the new episode, the player is rewarded with the option of adding Sazh to their party. The downloadable content also includes two new card games, "Chronobind" and "Serendipity Poker" that are added to the Casino-style area in the location known as Serendipity which appears in the game from Chapter 2 onwards.

A playable demo of FIFA Street is now available on Xbox LIVE, giving you the chance to try out this game scheduled to be available on March 13th (North America) and March 16th, 2012 (Europe), for PS3 and Xbox 360. Players will compete in a 5-a-side match at the iconic Amsterdam Square stadium with four unique teams: English Premier League giants Manchester City, defending Italian champions AC Milan, a team of real-life street football stars, and an adidas all-star team featuring Barcelona and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi and 12 of the most skillful superstars in the world.

  3. After nearly two years and over 100 updates, the massively popular session-based, multiplayer, action-RPG Heroes of Newerth (HoN) will offer the 100th hero this Friday, March 2nd, S2 Games announced. The hero - a telekinetic warrior dubbed Kinesis - will be commemorated by S2 Games with a week-long $100,000 player appreciation event and celebration. The event kicked off yesterday with the launch of a daily drawing giveaway for packages of in-game currency (Gold Goblin Coins) valued at over $100,000. S2 Games will also be giving away hundreds of promotional copies of their 100th hero through Heroes of Newerth's official social media outlets - Facebook and Twitter. Following the hero's release this Friday, March 2nd, the developer will host a very special S2 vs. The Community event, where North American and European players will have the opportunity to play head to head in exhibition matches with S2 Games staff, including the HoN Hero Design and Balance Team. Every time the community beats the developer at their own game, everyone who played a game that day (12:00am-11:59pm EST) is one step closer to winning an account symbol, silver coins, and a brand new Alternate Avatar.

  4. Activision Publishing has announced the start of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Content Season for Call of Duty Elite Premium Members on the PlayStation Network with the release of the first two content drops - Liberation and Piazza. Call of Duty Elite Drop 1: Liberation is a militarized Central Park in the heart of NYC, featuring a vast landscape ripe for long-range sniper and LMG kills. Mounted turrets on opposing ends of the map offer overwhelming firepower to anyone brave enough to man them. Elite Drop 2: Piazza is set in an idyllic seaside village, Italian getaway gone rogue, where blind corners and a complex network of branching pathways pose danger at every turn. Visceral close-quarters combat dominates in Piazza, and attacks from above and below are an ever-constant threat. The next Call of Duty Elite Content Drop for Premium Members on the PlayStation Network is scheduled to land on March 29 with the release of Overwatch, a multiplayer map that drops players into a construction site atop a New York City skyscraper.

    Nordic Games announced that the Collector's Edition of Alan Wake on PC will include four discs, two of which contain bonus material. Previously unannounced content includes The Writer (DLC) launch trailer and The Signal (DLC) teaser and launch trailer, plus two new features: Building the Technology and Building a Thriller. The two bonus discs also contain History of Remedy, Making of Alan Wake, Making of a Thriller, a music video "War" by Poets of the Fall, game trailers and a storyboard with concept art. The boxed version of Alan Wake for PC will hit the shelves on March 2nd priced £29.99 for the Special Edition and £34.99 for the Collector's Edition.

    ATLUS and Cyanide Studios have announced a limited pre-order bonus art book for Game of Thrones. Only available from select retailers while limited supplies last, the "Game of Thrones: Visuals from the RPG" art book offers sixty-four full color pages of sketches, renders, photos, and screenshots from the game accompanied by compelling text and commentary from the game's developers. The book will also include rare behind the scenes materials, like a portrait of the development team signed with a special message from author George R. R. Martin himself. The art book - measuring 8.5" wide and 11" tall - is hardbound, meticulously composed, and printed on premium stock.

  7. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced that a new DLC (downloadable content) for Gotham City Impostors is now available for Xbox 360 - the PC and PS3 version will launch in near future. The DLC pack includes matchmaking fixes (numerous additional fixes to matchmaking have been made, including join-in-progress functionality), new maps, weapons, gadgets and more (the 25th Floor map, the Kingmaker and Falcon Blade weapons, the Toxic Gas Support Item, and a new Fun Fact are all available right now). It also offers new costume choices: dress up your Impostor like a lunchador, a corporate schlub gone mad, and so much more.

    Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin's Creed Revelations: Ottoman Edition will be available on March 30th and will retail for a discounted price between £30 and £40. The Ottoman Edition includes Assassin's Creed Revelations, plus the following DLCs: The Ancestor's Character Pack, The Mediterranean Traveller Map Pack and The Lost Archive DLC.

  9. Bloodsucker Pack, a new DLC (downloadable content) for Saints Row: The Third, will be available on February 28th via Steam, Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, THQ announced. It provides you with a brand new ability (Dracula Blood Sucking Skill) to latch onto your captives and regain health from sucking their blood, performed by pressing in on the right stick. This pack also comes with other bonuses to keep you in the game, including VIP bonuses for Cash Boosts, Hourly Income, Respect, and the Scavenger ability.

    THQ announced today that that Homefront will be re-released across Europe on March 23rd, as part of the Xbox 360 Classics / PlayStation Platinum ranges for a suggested retail price of £19.99 / €24.99. The Homefront: Ultimate Edition will contain the Homefront game and all downloadable content released to-date, including both map packs 'The Rock' and 'Fire Sale', and the 870 Express Shotgun.

NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. has announced that those who pre-order Ridge Racer Unbounded will receive the Limited Edition, which includes six cars (Ridge Racer 1 Car, The Hearse, Ridge Racer Type 4 Hero Car, El Mariachi, Ridge Racer Hero Car & The Gallows) and five skins representing legendary Namco franchises (Pac-Man, Galaga, Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Ace Combat). Developed by Bugbear Entertainment, Ridge Racer Unbounded will be available in Europe on March 30th, 2012, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

    Sony Computer Entertainment today announced that PlayStation Vita (PS Vita), the next generation portable entertainment system, is available now in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe and Australia. PS Vita is available at major retailers in North America for $249.99 (MSRP) for the Wi-Fi model and $299.99 (MSRP) for the 3G/Wi-Fi model. Both models will include six Augmented Reality (AR) Play Cards along with a voucher to download three augmented reality games from PlayStation Network. PS Vita offers more than 25 titles on day one, plus a broad selection of accessories.
