MU Online S6E3 LinkMania Rules

Rule of thumb: civilised behaviour.

 

1. Insults (player/staff/community):

 

Must show all discussion in screen shots, with "Enter" + F5 + max extended (full screen).

Insults can only be reported by the offended/insulted person, no matter by what means they were addressed, global chat, normal chat, gens chat, PM.

Insults in Party Chat or Guild Chat will not be sanctioned under any circumstances, unless they are directly addressed to a member of the staff.

 * It is the choice of party and guild members to remain in the company of people with such language and they have the option to leave the party/guild. Persons disturbed by such language may appeal to the party leader/guild master to resolve the situation.

 

• Warning will be granted for any other reference to parents, relatives, if used in offensive context.
• Discrimination based on gender, colour, race or any other criteria that violates human rights is punished.
• No warning is given for minor insults such as: loser, fool, jet, noob, but.

 

Insults will be penalized as such:

• first warning - minimum suspension 1 days
• second warning - minimum suspension 3 days
• third warning - minimum suspension 8 days
• fourth warning - minimum suspension 15 days

 

We reserve the right to check the logs to see if the event was provoked or not. In case the event was provoked by insulting, both players will be sanctioned.

 We offer you 12 hours from the time of posting to resolve this amicably, otherwise the above sanctions will apply.

 

 

2. Language (player/staff/community):

 

Indecent language, obscene signs and swearing expressed on global & normal chat can be complained about by people other than the one to whom it is directed, if used in a public context.

Language used in Party Chat or Guild Chat will not be sanctioned, unless it is directly directed at a member of the staff.

 

* It is the choice of party and guild members to remain in the company of people with such language and they have the option to leave the party/guild. Persons disturbed by such language may appeal to the party leader/guild master to resolve the situation.

 

• Swearing is punishable whether explicit or abbreviated.
• For such complaints it is NOT mandatory to post the screenshot at maximum, but it should be pointed out that it does not fall under the party/guild exception when not addressed to the party/guild leader/admin/server/community.
• For abbreviations like sms, mm, the context in which they are addressed will be taken into account (mandatory posting of screenshot with chatbox at max).
• Warning is granted for smf, svf, fmm etc.

 

Swearing, obscene signs and vulgar/obscene language are penalized as such:

• first warning - minimum suspension 4 days
• second warning - minimum suspension 9 days
• third warning - minimum suspension 14 days
• fourth warning - minimum suspension 25 days

 

* If the language used is extremely serious, section moderators may give an additional warning by increasing the number of days of suspension up to the account being blocked.

** A separate record will be kept for these cases to ensure consistency, and the initiator of the complaint or the moderator resolving the complaint will call the tag to ensure that the manager is informed of the need to evaluate the complaint.

 

 

3. Behaviour towards the Game Master:

 

Disrupting events organised by LinkMania Staff will be penalised with character suspension for a period of 10 days.

 

 

4. Nicknames/Guild names:

 

• Vulgar/obscene names are prohibited.
• The use of nicknames or guild names similar to Game Masters is strictly forbidden.

 Any character with such a name will be penalized with a 5 days suspension or permanent account blocking. based on gravity.

If the player cooperates and reports the bug to staff the punishment may be reduced or not enforced at all.

 

5. Staff knowledge:

 

The penalty for people who pose as Game Masters or acquaintances/relatives of guild [Admins] or charge to use this real connection for gaining advantages or in a threatening context is 20 days suspension.

 

• The GM will not ask for your account details, i.e. passwords, login details.
• The GM will not ask/offer you items.
• The GM will not ask/offer you favours.

 

 

6. Scam:

 

Attempting to defraud another player will be penalized with permanent account lockout.

 

 

7. Cheating:

 

• NO hack applications will be accepted.
• NO exploitation of game bugs is accepted.
• NO items obtained by exploiting bugs.

 

Any attempt to exploit hacks/bugs to create an advantage will be penalized with permanent account blocking. 

 

 

8. Advertising:

 

Advertising (advertising) on anything other than LinkMania servers and events posted on the Youtube channel/Discord/Facebook page/LinkMania community forum will be penalized with permanent account blocking.

 

 

9. Illegitimate sales of items and accounts

 

• It is forbidden to sell items that contain in their auction something other than the items available in the Mu Online LinkMania game.
• Any attempt to solicit goods or benefits of material value will be sanctioned.
• Likewise, any attempt to offer goods or benefits of material value in exchange for items will be sanctioned.
• Selling accounts is prohibited under any circumstances
• Sanction is given per account

 

Failure to comply with the above rule is sanctioned as follows:

 

• first warning: minimum suspension of 20 days
• second warning: suspension for 50 days
• third warning: permanent account lockout

 

 

Important!

 

• Evidence tampering will result in permanent account blocking
• Unsubstantiated accusations against LinkMania Staff will be penalized with the suspension of the main character(s) for an indefinite period.
• Making up rules that are not contained in this rulebook and using them to gain an advantage or threatening to do so will be penalized with a 3-day character suspension.
• The validity of pictures to make a complaint is a maximum of 7 days.

 

If these rules are violated repeatedly, suspension may be granted for an indefinite period.

 

• We are not responsible for stolen/disappeared items from your account or account security, your only responsibility is to maintain the confidentiality of your account, i.e. password, user and contact email.
• Changes in the rules do not apply retroactively.
• Sanctions already activated do not change with the rule change

 

 

The project will be available for free to LinkMania Community users, access to the game will be free and open within the limits of the rules. Community representatives and RCS&RDS are not responsible for any financial transactions made between players. You are free to support the efforts of the programmers with donations and tips but the LinkMania Community does not intervene and is not responsible for such transactions.
